With the offices of Michael Z. Zavier PLC located in the heart of Downtown Detroit, Mr. Zavier is able to serve clients throughout Metro Detroit. Practicing in both State and Federal Courts, Mr. Zavier specializes in personal injury, representing clients in a wide array of practice areas, including, but not limited to Michigan No-Fault claims, motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, product liability, and medical malpractice. While maintaining a successful private practice, Mr. Zavier is also employed as an Associate at the prestigious firm of Paskel, Tashman & Walker, P.C. located in Southfield, MI.
Mr. Zavier attended Michigan State University, attending the Eli Broad School of Business with a major in General Business Administration. He earned his J.D. at the Wayne State University Law School in 2012. While in law school he served as member of the governing council for State Bar of Michigan, Student Section. He was also a Governor of the Student Board of Governors for 3 years.
Mr. Zavier gained extensive experience working as a law clerk for multiple attorneys, including Joel Sklar, Noah Hurwitz, and Denise Alter, gaining experience and knowledge on first and third party auto claims, premises and general liability matters, personal injuries, civil rights and police misconduct, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, and family law. He also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Richard B. Halloran, of the Wayne County Circuit bench.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Zavier worked as Legislative Aide in the Michigan State Senate for Senator Dennis Olshove. He was an active participant throughout the full legislative process. He also attained a passionate view on community from controlling, planning, and directing all constituent cases.
